A Few words Described 8Th Shawwal Jannat-ul-Baqi

On 8th shawwal, Wednesday in the year 1345 AH (April 21 1925), mausoleums in jannat-ul-Baqi (Medina) were demolished by king ibn Saud.
In the same year (1925), He also demolished the tombs of holy personages at Jannat al- Mualla (Makkah) the holy prophet (s), s mother, wife, grandfather and other ancestors are buried.

Destruction of sacred sites in Hijaz by the Saudi Wahhabis continues even today. According to some scholars what is happening in Hijazi is actually a conspiracy plotted by the Jews against Islam, under the guise of the idea is to eradicate the Islamic legacy and heritage and to systematically
Remove all its vestiges so that in the days to come, Muslims will have no affiliation with their religious history.

Jannat-ul-Baqi is a much revered graveyard located in medina munawwarah in Saudi Arabia. Many great personalities of the ahle bait (as), immaculate members of his (s.a.w.a) household including
his (a.s.w.a) successors are laid to rest here.

1. Hazrat Fatimah al- Zahra (as) the prophet, s (s.a.w.a) highly revered daughter.
2. Imam Hasan b. Ali - Al Mujtaba (a.s)
3. Imam Ali b. Husain - Zain Al- Aberdeen (a.s)
4. Imam Muhammad b. Ali - AL -Baqir (a.s) and
5. Imam Jafar b. Muhammad _ Al - Sadiqi (a.s)

A Day of Grief for Muslims

Ayatollah Safi gulpaigani (r.a) addressed the Muslims particularly the Shians and said - The Shia and Muslims should be aggrieved and sorrowful on this day (8th shawwal) and should curse and condemn these criminals.

Certainly the Proof of Allah - Imam-e-Zaman (a.t.f.s) is also mournful and grief- stricken when he Witnesses the desolate state of baqi; particularly the state of his grandmother, Hazrat Zahra (s.a) his Forefathers (a.s) graves.
